Mrs. Jacqueline I. Williams-Lartey
Biography :

Mrs. Jacqueline Inez Williams-Lartey was born in Elm City, North Carolina (Wilson County). She is the sixth child of nine children. She is a graduate of Ralph L. Fike Senior High School in Wilson, North Carolina and a graduate of Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina with a degree in Accounting / Business Administration.

Jacqueline is married to the Right Reverend Dr. Seth O. Lartey and they are the proud parents of three beautiful children, Solomon, Victoria and Alicia. Jacqueline serves with her husband in the Alabama-Florida Episcopal District comprising of Alabama, North Alabama, South Alabama, Central Alabama, West Alabama, Cahaba, Florida, and South Florida. She is very much involved in the work of mission. Because of her involvement and dedication to the empowerment of women and the education of children in Africa, two schools (Liberia, Cote d’Ivoire) were named in her honor.

She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Janie A. Speaks Hospital in Afrancho, Ghana. In 2012, Jacqueline was enstooled as Queen Mother in Ghana.

She has served on many boards and organizations. She is a member/officer of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. For 18 years, Co-founder and Administrative Officer of the Goler Institute for Development and Education, Inc. (G.I.D.E. Inc.,), Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Throughout her life, Jacqueline has worked tirelessly with her husband (Seth), in creating programs/organizations whose primary goals have been to assist children and youth; and to prepare them for a promising, successful and productive future.

In partnership with her husband (Seth), they organized Operation Will Power, Inc. This organization caters to children and youth to help build character, apply ethical standards and moral values. The children/youth are taught to become and remain free of violence, drugs, illegal guns and free from jail/prison.

Jacqueline enjoys being involved in various activities and other organizations as time permits.
