The Livingstone College Concert Choir Invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York, NY PDF Print
ImageLivingstone College Concert Choir has recently accepted an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York, NY. The performance is scheduled for Monday, April 26, 2010 at 8:00pm. The 5 day / 4 night experience includes the following:

  • 4 nights lodging at a 4-star hotel near Carnegie Hall

  • Travel within the city for planned educational tours and choral activities

  • A post-concert celebration reception cruise on "The Spirit of New York"

  • A replica of the giant Carnegie Hall marquis poster

  • An ensemble photograph on the famous Carnegie Hall stage

The Choir was invited to sing by MidAmerica Productions. This company has been in business for over 25 years placing professional classical soloists with the most outstanding choral programs in the world. Many of the appointments have launched international careers in music. The performance will include the leaders from Livingstone College Music Department: conductor, Mr. DaVaughn Miller, soloist, Mrs. Teresa Moore-Mitchell; and accompanist, Mrs. Joanne Harrison.

There is a financial commitment of $1500 per student (based on quad hotel occupancy, including meals and travel).
