AMEZ.ORG to Introduce New Online Business Directory and Advertising Addition PDF Print
As large numbers of consumers increase online activity, businesses and organizations are spending much less on newspapers, magazines and other traditional media types.

Nearly 75% of small, medium and large businesses and organizations are spending a lot less this year on newspapers, magazines, direct mail and other traditional advertising channels, so they can increase spending on online ads, a studies show.

The cause for the large and immediate shift is the change in consumer behavior, according to Forrester Research Inc. An increasing number of consumers are using the World Wide Web to get news, sports and entertainment reports and to buy products and services in enormous numbers. Even Christians are accessing the internet daily to get information and interact with their church organizations like never before.

Online consumers today spend nearly 40% of their time online, either at home or at work. "In trying to reach consumers through the medium that they use, businesses are focusing a lot more on the online channel," says Forrester.

In addition, businesses can measure the effectiveness of e-mail campaigns, banner ads and search marketing better than ads on traditional channels. Online ads can also be interactive, which can increase their return by requiring a consumer to get actively involved in a promotion.

AMEZ.ORG last month tallied more than 1 Million site visits in one week and more than 2 Million visits for the entire month. The site has, since its launch a year ago, totaled more than 13 million site visits with a consistent monthly average of 1.13 million site hits. Most business owners and organizations find these numbers to be quite impressive as they consistently seek to grow their customer base and ultimately sales.

Because organizations and businesses have requested in large numbers, information about how they may advertise on the AMEZ corporate website, we are please to begin taking requests today for a new business directory and ad portlet link to AMEZ.ORG. There will be several advertising package offerings for the Business Directory for both businesses and organizations.
