Welcome to AMEZ.ORG PDF Print
Welcome to AMEZ.ORG, the Web portal and online ministry of the people of The African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church.

The Board of Bishops, seeking to provide the members of the A.M.E. Zion Church as well as potential members, a technological means of access to information about the make up and operation of the denomination, developed this website. It is our intent that this site also link with other departments of the church to create a better picture of the denomination. It is our hope that all visitors to the site will develop a better understanding of the church and the ministries for which we strive to bring to the world.

This first step, a new Web site will be a clearinghouse for all things A.M.E. Zion. You can read the latest church news, an email feature where you may connect with other Zionites and people of faith from around the world. You’ll be able to access all these incredible resources from your own home PC or Notebook 24 hours a day.

AMEZ.org was created to expand the reach of The AME Zion Church in the 21st century. You are invited to visit the Web site often and discover this new way to be a part of the global AME Zion church community.

Among the site’s other features are:
  • "Find-A-Church,” which helps visitors identify where an AME Zion Church is located in the United States or overseas.
  • An opportunity for you to get information from the Board of Bishops.
  • A place where you can gain access to church news and news in the faith-based community.
  • You’ll be able to access a daily devotional and a bible search engine for your study.
  • Through links in departmental pages you can access other AME Zion organizational websites.
  • Soon, you will also be able to register for conferences and workshops online.
  • And, more. . . . .
We hope you will take time and browse the site, connect to the departmental websites through the links provided and gather whatever information needed to enhance your understanding. Just know that you are welcome!
